Prices
We don't have a standard price list as every project is different and the most important factor is the time required. We always provide a fixed price quote once we have studied your requirements so that you will know the exact costs before deciding to proceed. Meanwhile the following notes will give you some indication of the potential cost.
Everyone with a website normally incurs costs in the following 3 areas:
- Website creation - the creation of the actual web pages that make up your website.
- Hosting costs - the cost of having your web pages hosted on the World Wide Web.
- Domain costs - the initial cost of purchasing your domain (your website address) and it's ongoing renewal. There may also be additional domain related costs (e.g. for the use of dedicated email addresses).
1. Website creation costs
This is a one-off cost for the work involved in creating the replacement website. This is likely to be the most significant cost involved and can start from as little as £150. The most significant factor affecting this price is usually the overall size of the website to be replaced and whether you wish to re-use any existing content.
Whatever your requirements, we will give you a fixed price quote for this before anything else so that you can quickly decide if it fits your budget. Always remember that getting a quote costs you absolutely nothing. If you have a specific budget to work to then let us know so we can advise accordingly.

2. Hosting and Content Management System Costs
You are almost certainly paying regular hosting costs for your existing website and in the majority of cases your replacement website will incur similar costs. However, the hosting cost for your replacement website may well be lower than what you are already paying, especially as this will be supplied to you at cost price. A typical cost is about £5 a month which includes the cost for a web-based Content Management System that enables you to edit the website yourself using any computer, tablet or mobile phone that has internet access. Some website features might increase the hosting costs (such as including videos for example). E-commerce and shopping cart facilities almost always impact on hosting costs.
3. Domain Costs
Domain costs are all to do with your domain or website address and normally these costs are minimal. Your domain has to be renewed every year (or two years) and typically you may be paying £5 - £10 per year for this. If you are paying more than this we might recommend transferring your domain to another registrar.
Another domain related cost might be for any email addresses that are used with your domain. Typically these might range from £1 - £5 per month depending upon the nature of the email facilities used. These costs are likely to remain very similar after your website has been replaced but could lead to savings if you are currently paying excessive amounts. As part of the process we will advise on the best way forward with relation to your domain management.
